An alumnus of the Harvard Business School, he holds an MBA from Robert Morris University and an undergraduate degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Paliotti began his career at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, New York, in 1999 and served in various finance functions with increasing responsibility, including Finance Director for European Manufacturing and Global Finance Director for Corporate Services & Manufacturing Strategy. As Kodak’s Global Finance Director, he helped oversee their Film Manufacturing organization through the company’s transition from film to digital photography. In 2006, Paliotti joined Lenel Technologies International, a United Technologies Company serving the security software market, as COO/CFO.

Paliotti joined Afton in 2008 as the Operation Finance Director before taking on the role of Senior Finance Director for Afton’s parent company, NewMarket Corp., in 2011. He then moved to Vice President, Finance of NewMarket in 2013. In 2015, he became Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of NewMarket, leading the M&A process, such as the acquisition of Aditivos Mexicanos, S.A. de C.V. (AMSA) in 2017. He was appointed President of Afton Chemical Corp. in 2023.

Paliotti and his wife Tina reside in rural Virginia on a 75-acre working farm. They are the proud parents of two children: Janelle, a Virginia Tech graduate, and Aidan, a Penn State student.
