Brush off your elevator pitch, it's time to put it to good use! Be ready to quickly communicate who you are, what you do, the value you bring to your clients, and what brings you to #EssentialILMA.
Set yourself up for success by prioritizing your message. It's easy to get caught up in small talk but remember, your meeting will end in 3 minutes!
TALK, BUT LISTEN TOO.
Allow your partner equal time to speak. Try to focus less on the "speed" aspect of the meeting and more on the quality of the connection.
Take a moment to jot down your partner's name and the context of your discussion. This will make it easier to pick up where you left off when you connect after the session.
